Base Game

This game is played on six main reels, plus an extra bottom reel with four rows.

The bottom reel acts as an additional row for reels two, three, four and five. 

On the main reel set, reels one and six can show two to 10 symbols per spin. 

Reels two to five can show between two and nine symbols per spin.

Cascades

Each time you land a win, all winning symbols will explode and disappear from the reels.

New symbols will then fall from above to fill the empty positions on the main reels and fill in from the right on the bottom reel. 

Wins are evaluated before symbols explode - any new wins will be evaluated once the new symbols have stopped landing.

Symbols cannot transfer between the two reel sets.

This process continues until no more wins are secured.

Any wins will be awarded at the end of the feature. 

Curtain feature

A curtain can conceal up to half of each reel in the base game.

It can only cover the top half of the reels; the bottom half will always remain on show.

The height of the curtain changes at random on every spin. 

Symbols concealed by the curtain are not active and cannot contribute to wins or trigger features. 

Each time you secure a winning cascade on a single spin, those symbols will be removed from the reels and replaced with new symbols.

A curtain will also be chosen at random to rise and reveal one hidden symbol.

It will remain in that position for the duration of the spin, unless another cascade causes it to rise.

Wild Symbols

Wilds substitute for all symbols except the Amphitheatre Scatter symbol.

They can land anywhere apart from reels one and six, and the bottom reel.

Scatter Symbols

The Amphitheatre symbol acts as a Scatter in this game.

It can appear on any reel except the bottom one. 

Four or more Scatters appearing will trigger Free Spins.

Free Spins

If enabled, the wheel will spin to reveal your winning number of free spins and curtain configuration for the feature.

You can win between six and 16 free spins, but it's possible to win more while playing.

Each time three or more Scatters land, you'll be awarded the same amount spins as you were given at the start of the feature.

The curtain configuration awarded will remain for the whole of Free Spins.

This feature plays automatically.

Any Wilds that appear during Free Spins are Expanding Wilds - this means they expand to cover all symbols on that reel, including any hidden by a curtain. 

At the end of each spin, curtains re-set to their original configuration and any wins will be calculated. 

This feature ends when all spins have been used or you win the maximum amount possible - in Spartacus Megaways this is £250,000.

Free Spins uses the same prizes and win lines as the triggering spin.

Malfunction voids all pays and plays throughout the game.
