The Legend of Shangri-La: Cluster Pays Slot - How to Play
This game uses the Cluster Pays mechanic.
Cluster Pays
Clusters are formed of matching symbols that are vertically or horizontally adjacent to each other.
A win is awarded for creating a Cluster of more than nine symbols.
Wins achieved from multiple Clusters at the same time are added together.
If two Clusters are not adjacent to each other, they will pay as separate Clusters.
Stacked Symbols
Both the Guru symbol and the Free Spins symbols are stacked and can land at any time during the game.
During Sticky Re-spins, the Guru symbol will cover one position.
Stacked symbols can be fully or partially visible on the reels, depending on how the reel stops.
Exposed parts of the Guru symbols will form a single version of the symbol if a stacked Guru symbol is overlaid by a Substitution symbol.
Substitution Symbols
This symbol will change into an adjacent symbol when it lands so that the highest win possible is created.
If no win can be created, the Substitution symbol will not change.
Substitution symbols cannot substitute for Free Spin symbols.
When only Substitution symbols appear on the reels, they will all change into the highest value symbol.
Main Game Features
Four features are available during the main game.
Only one feature may be triggered on a single spin.

Random Substitutions Feature
This feature is triggered when two Clusters of the same symbol are formed during the main game.
One or more Substitution symbol will be added to an adjacent position to the Clusters - this cannot be on reels one and six.
Until a win is achieved, more Substitution symbols will be added randomly.
If there are three Free Spins symbols partially or fully on the reels, then the Random Substitutions feature cannot be triggered.
It also cannot be activated if the Nudge Reel can be.
Any wins achieved are evaluated at the end of the feature.
Sticky Re-spins Feature
This feature is triggered when there are at least two non-winning Clusters of the same symbol.
Each triggering Cluster must contain five to eight symbols.
The lowest paying symbol is chosen from the Clusters - this is the 'Feature symbol'.
Only the Feature symbol can award a win during this feature.
The Feature symbol will be locked onto the reels while all other positions spin again.
The feature ends when no new Feature symbols appear on the reels, at which point a final Cluster win will be awarded.
Sticky re-spins use the same bet level as the triggering spin.
Nudge Reel
In the event of two Free Spins symbols appearing on the reels but another landing outside the reels to the right-hand side, the third symbol will be nudged back onto the reels.
Nudging will trigger the Free Spins Bonus.
If there are more than one symbols available to nudge, then the furthest left symbol will be chosen.
Nudging will not happen if it will increase, decrease or create a winning Cluster.
Free Spins Bonus
Three or more Free Spins symbols appearing will trigger the Free Spins Bonus.
The number of free spins awarded depends on how many Free Spins symbols are used to trigger the bonus.

Two to six random Substitution symbols are removed or added on each free spin.
The first two Substitution symbols to be added are randomly placed, while any subsequent symbols are placed adjacent to the Clusters formed by the first two symbols.
If Substitution symbols form a winning Cluster, they will transform into the chosen symbol and any wins will be added to the total win amount.
Symbols that were originally Substitution symbols transform back into their original form.
One to four Substitution symbols are removed from random positions before the next spin.
Extra Spin
An extra spin may be awarded if the total number of free spins is less than 10x the bet.
During the extra spin, no Substitution symbols will be removed.
This feature cannot be re-triggered in the same Free Spins Bonus.
